Twas Three Nights Before Christmas...

Twas three nights before Christmas
And all through the house,
Not a child was stirring
Not even a mouse.
Mr. Classical was assembling Playmobil with care,
In hopes that this project wouldn't give him white hair.

The children were nestled all snug in their bed,
Unable to hear the curse Dad had just said.
With Mama in her PJs and Pa in his cap,
I had just almost dozed - ready for a nap
When down on the floor arose such a clatter,
I sat up straight to see what was the matter.
On to the floor I flew in a flash
In time to see dear husband break the toy with a smash.

.... And so goes the evening as Mr. Classical attempts putting together our third Playmobil toy of the evening. The first two (put together by me, I'd like to add) went rather smoothly. This one is just taking a bit longer. Understandably so, as it is much larger than the two I put together.

I'd like to take this time to say that I LOVE PLAYMOBIL! The detail with which these toys are made is amazing. They're really not that difficult to assemble. However it is a time-consuming process as there are a LOT of pieces. The Little Classicals have hours of imaginative, fun play with these toys.

Perhaps one of the best features of Playmobil toys? No twisty tie thingies holding down toy parts that are glued, stapled, and screwed to the box in which they came. What's up with that anyway?
