Another Favorite Book Turns Movie

Having been an avid Tolkien reader since 13 years old, I was concerned that the movies would not, could not, live up to my expectations of what Middle Earth and all its creatures, races, landscapes, and adventures was really like. Turns out, I had little reason for concern. Peter Jackson did a fantastic job bringing The Lord of the Rings to life for me. Everything in the movie was very much the way I'd pictured it in my mind. Though the movies do not, cannot, follow the book perfectly, I was not disappointed in the least.

Today The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe has been released. Can Andrew Adamson accomplish what Peter Jackson did with the Lord of the Rings trilogy? With Disney's hand in the production something tells me "no." I will go into the theater with an open mind, though!
